Image Forge, Video Forge, Newsletter and ForgeSays improvements
This release introduces new customization tools and resolves several issues affecting image projects, video exports, newsletters and background processing.
Image ForgeVideo ForgeNewsletterAsset LibraryForgeSaysPlatform
This update focuses on the places you spend the most time: building thumbnails and image projects, exporting video that matches the editor exactly, sending newsletters without fighting the layout, and shaping a ForgeSays feed around the topics your audience actually cares about.
Nothing here requires you to change how you work. Existing projects, clips, and newsletters keep their current settings — the fixes apply the next time you open or export them.
New
Image Forge
Saved hosts in Thumbnail Studio
Save the hosts you use most often and pick one when you create a thumbnail. Uploading a one-time host image — or creating a thumbnail with no host at all — still works exactly as before.
Video Forge
Frame rate controls
A new Frame Rate option is available under Export. Auto matches the frame rate of your source footage, which prevents the stutter you could see with footage recorded at rates such as 24fps and 25fps.
Existing clips keep their current frame-rate setting. New clips use Auto by default.
Newsletter
Asset Library logos
Pick your newsletter logo directly from the Asset Library instead of entering an external image URL.
Flexible hero images
Hero images can be uploaded from your device or selected from the Asset Library.
Full content reordering
Newsletter sections and calls-to-action can be rearranged into any order.
Inline text links
Highlight any word or phrase and choose Insert Link to make it clickable.
Unlimited calls-to-action
Add as many buttons and calls-to-action as you need, and place them anywhere in the newsletter.
Asset Library
Public asset links
Generate a public link for an asset that needs to appear in an email or on a public page.
The Asset Library stays private by default. You are asked to confirm before an asset is made public, and shared assets are clearly marked.
ForgeSays
Custom categories
Rename, add, reorder or disable ForgeSays categories — up to 12 per workspace. The original categories are:
- Crypto
- Political
- Geopolitical
- Finance
- Regulation
- Memecoins
Category-level AI guidance
Every category now takes two kinds of steer:
- Must Cover
- Nice to Include
These controls help you sharpen the focus and relevance of a feed without repeatedly regenerating results.
Custom icons and colors
Choose an icon and a color for each category.
Automatic translations
Category names are translated into all seven additional supported languages, and every translation can be edited by hand.
Custom Web3 Opportunity Radar buckets
Web3 workspaces can customize their Opportunity Radar buckets:
- Positioning
- Quote Post
- Reply
- Explainer
- Fresh Post
- Ignore
Rename any bucket, choose which source types feed it, and configure what it sends into Content Forge.
Guided tutorial
An in-app walkthrough is available at Help → Customize ForgeSays categories.
Improved
Image Forge
Sharper image upscaling
Upscaling now runs reliably in production and returns a noticeably cleaner result, especially on low-resolution faces and fine detail.
Faster loading
The Image Forge home page loads more quickly.
Platform
Automatic failure alerts
Failed jobs now notify the TheContentForge team automatically, with the detail the team needs to investigate.
Automatic stuck-job cleanup
Jobs that become stuck are detected and cleaned up automatically.
Branded public image links
Public image links now use TheContentForge's branded short domain instead of a raw storage URL.
Fixed
Image Forge
Images fit the canvas correctly
Images now fill the available canvas instead of appearing as a small image in the corner.
Reliable project saving
Projects auto-save as you work. Later edits are kept, and your project images are still there when you reopen a saved project.
Project previews
Saved project cards show a preview instead of a blank placeholder.
Complete AI Gallery history
The AI Gallery shows every generation available on your account.
Links & QR navigation
The Links & QR workspace now has a back button.
Video Forge
Captions export as designed
Exported captions now keep the settings you configured in the editor:
- Style
- Font size
- Position
- Color
- Capitalization
- Caption visibility
Turning captions off now removes them from the exported video.
Stable caption highlighting
Words stay in place as captions are highlighted. Caption lines no longer shift sideways or appear to jitter.
No flashing during rendering
The editor no longer flashes repeatedly while a render is processing.
More reliable long-form exports
Longer videos no longer fail near the end of the rendering process.
Accurate export output
Fonts, selected aspect ratios, resized layouts and layer placement now match what you see in the editor much more closely.
Cleaner render recovery
A failed render no longer leaves an entry stuck in a processing state in your video library.
You do not need to change your existing clips or settings. Any clip that was exported earlier with the wrong caption styling can simply be rendered again.
Newsletter
Asset Library images appear correctly
Images selected from the Asset Library are now retained and displayed in the final newsletter.
