ForgeSays leads with the news, and a wave of reliability fixes

ForgeSays daily topics are now anchored in published news articles, with sources shown on every card, smarter categorization and new category tools. Data ingestion opens to every workspace with a Your Sources tab for following the feeds and accounts you care about. Reliability fixes land across Content Forge, the Market Signals feed, competitor scans, the browser extension and custom short links.

New

ForgeSays

  • Keyword suggestions in the category manager

Every category now has a Suggest keywords button. Quick guesses appear immediately and AI suggestions replace them a moment later, shown as chips you click to add. Nothing is saved until you pick one.

    • Categories with no keywords now show a warning, since they cannot match anything
    • An expanded category shows how many of the last 48 hours of source items its keywords would have matched, so you can tell whether a category is actually catching anything
  • Feed-type badges on your sources

Each connected feed on the sources page now shows whether it delivers X posts, articles or a mix, judged from its recent items, so you can see at a glance which feeds bring news articles into your daily topics.

Platform

  • Data ingestion for every workspace

The Data Import area in Settings, previously available only to Real Estate workspaces, is now open to every organization. Editors and above manage analytics uploads, feeds and other data sources in one place, and links to the older addresses land on the new page.

  • Follow your own sources

A new Your Sources tab lets your workspace follow the feeds, X accounts, websites, newsletters, YouTube channels and documentation sites it cares about.

    • Mark a source private and it stays isolated to your workspace; public sources are fetched once and shared platform-wide
    • If a public source is already known, you start following the existing one, and it says so
    • Every source shows its scope and a pending state while it is validated, and you can unfollow at any time

Improved

ForgeSays

  • Daily topics lead with the news

Topic generation now treats published articles as the source of truth. The majority of the source material is reserved for articles, topics and post angles are anchored to article citations whenever enough articles are available, and a draft that ignores them is retried.

    • When an article and an X post cover the same story, they merge into a single topic that cites both
    • Short X posts are expanded to their full text before generation, so the whole post is read rather than a truncated preview
    • A category short on articles can borrow relevant ones from a neighboring category
  • Sources on every card

Topic cards now separate their sources: news articles under Sources, and X posts under Conversation on X, listed by their handle. The headline links straight to the strongest article, with the site named underneath, and sending a topic to the writing surface opens it with the suggested format and platform already set.

Article-first behavior applies when your feeds actually deliver news articles. Feeds that only carry X posts keep working exactly as before.

Content Forge

  • A fuller What's Working view

The What's Working view in Content Studio now shows a real performance breakdown of your recent posts: prioritized do-this-next recommendations with the expected lift, your winning opening lines with how often they were used and how they scored, your top posts, performance by post length and a topic breakdown, alongside new benchmark tiles for likes and views.

How much appears depends on how much posting history your workspace has. With little history you see the simpler summary, as before.

  • Brand voice guidance beyond the big three

A brand voice can now carry writing guidance for LinkedIn, newsletters, TikTok and YouTube, alongside the existing X, Facebook and Instagram guidance. The extra guidance is produced only when the material you added actually contains that kind of writing, and it is applied when content for those surfaces is generated.

Investor Intel

  • Fresher signals inside generated content

Content generation, recommendations and investor reports now pull in the newest market signals from the last two days that match your topic, ranked by strength and recency, with links back to the source articles where available.

Image Forge

  • Clearer custom link names

The create dialog for short links and dynamic QR codes now checks your custom back-half as you type. Invalid names show a plain explanation instead of an error code, and if a name is already taken, or you have reached your plan's dynamic link limit, the message says so and shows the actual limit.

Fixed

ForgeSays

  • Topics land in the right category

Keyword matching now respects word boundaries, so a short keyword no longer matches inside longer words. Each source item is assigned to one primary category, the same story no longer appears across multiple categories in one run, and stories you already covered with your own X posts in the last 12 hours are held back. Generating a single category always produces a fresh run.

  • Generation finishes reliably

Daily topic generation moved to a faster engine, and every stage of the pipeline now has its own time cap, so one slow step degrades gracefully instead of timing out the whole run. The backup engine and the grounded fact-check stage are unchanged, and repeated source lookups are now cached properly.

  • Trends page polish

The audience-fit badge no longer renders with broken styling when a fit label is unrecognized, and the source link under a trend now names the actual website instead of always saying on X.

  • The Web3 view loads again

The Web3 view in ForgeSays briefly showed an authorization error after a round of platform security hardening. It now signs its requests with your login session and loads normally.

Content Forge

  • Generations no longer come back empty

A generation whose copy tripped one of your workspace's hard brand voice rules could finish as successful yet come back blank, because the automatic cleanup step rewrote the whole result and could erase it. The cleanup now rewrites only the specific posts and captions that break your rules, checks each rewrite individually, and keeps your original copy whenever a safe fix is not possible. A finished generation can no longer lose its content.

  • What's Working and Brand Voice open instantly

Opening the What's Working or Brand Voice view could leave the request spinning and eventually report a failure, even though the data was ready. Both views now return their results immediately, and viewing them no longer adds entries to your generation history.

  • Competitor scans work for early accounts

Running a competitor scan could fail with no posts fetched if your workspace added competitor profiles in the product's early days, because those entries were stored under an older label the refresh step did not recognize. They are now refreshed like any other profile, and a scan whose sources were all refreshed moments earlier proceeds straight to the analysis instead of reporting a failure.

  • Browser extension captures read the page

Capturing a page from the browser extension without highlighting text always failed with an error asking for content. The extension now reads the page itself, so full-page captures save with the real title and body and generate post drafts.

    • If you highlight text first, the capture succeeds even when the page cannot be read, using your selection as the source
    • Capturing an X post link now fetches the exact post text instead of failing, and a post with no readable text says so plainly

Investor Intel

  • The Market Signals feed loads instantly

The Market Signals feed could take almost its entire allowed time to build and frequently failed to load. The feed is now assembled ahead of time and refreshed every few minutes, so it opens immediately.

Themes with no new items in the last 14 days no longer appear. This is intentional: the feed now reflects what is moving, not what once moved. Sources your workspace follows still surface whenever they have recent activity.

Image Forge

  • Underscores in custom back-halves

Custom back-halves for short links and dynamic QR codes now accept underscores, for example spring_sale_2026. Names must be 3 to 32 characters of letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, starting and ending with a letter or number.
